ARINC
ARINC
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK
Architects In Partnership designed this 180,000 square foot facility for intensive research into military aircraft components. It is not unusual for testing to be done at this facility on a B-52 wing, a KC-135 tanker fuselage, or a complete A-6 intruder. The building is fully integrated with state-of-the-art electronic systems and features 236 pre-wired workstations.
The first floor includes a highly secure research and engineering area. Space for future expansion was provided on the third floor in anticipation of company growth. Six metallurgical and electronic laboratories were designed with “clean rooms” featuring static discharge control, special lighting, and separate electronic grounding provisions. ARINC now operates in one of the most high-tech research and engineering facilities in the state and the nation.
